Portraits with SantaPictured is the fireplace set that Carol Ceynowa refurbished for Portraits with Santa that we'll be taking Saturday. The mantle was moved from the Palace Theatre to the Green Earth Player's building prior to the Theatre remodeling last summer. Carol saw great potential and replace much of the canvas and repainted the entire piece. She is going to decorate it with Victorian decorations and antiques.
Winter Sports PhotosToday was Girl's Basketball and Gymnastics photo day. Pictured is the Girls' Varsity Basketball team doing their "I Dream of Jeanne" pose. Should be a fun year for basketball!

UnflappableAt Friday's 2A Quarterfinal game against Triton, the Luverne football team displayed poise and determination. A never-give-up attitude that, despite repeated opportunities by Triton to score, did not falter. Congratulations to the team and coaches and best wishes at the Metrodome on Friday. Images from the game are now in the gallery.
Ordering Event ImagesThe gallery is now set up to order prints online from selected events. Several people have asked if they would be able to get prints from the football images in the gallery. Ordering prints from portrait sessions is not supported. M*A*S*HYou're in for a treat at the Green Earth Player's play of MASH. The cast of 27 is lively and fun in this lighthearted rendition of the famous movie and television series. Images from the dress rehearsal performance are in the gallery. This is the first GEP performance in the newly remodeled Palace Theatre. The new lighting is great and really adds to the performance. The new seats are big and comfy making for a fun and relaxing evening. The cast did a great job in projecting the dialog. It was easy to hear everyone.
Section 3AA ChampionsCongratulations to the Luverne Cardinal Football Team on Friday's win over Jackson County Central to take the Section 3AA Championship. Photos from the the game are now in the gallery. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoy having the opportunity to take them. Being close to the action both on the field and through editing the over 600 images captured at the game gives me a look at the intensity and desire of these young men. There is a positive attitude on the field and on the sidelines, a rapport between the coaches and the players, that shows itself in Friday's Championship win.
MomentumQuarterback Jeremy Hoff holds up two for two points. The Luverne Cardinal Football team showed what momentum is by cementing a victory over The Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers via a two point conversion in today's game in Luverne.
